Hoya Acquires MMP Portfolio License

PTSCE | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Patriot Scientific announced that Hoya Corp. and The TPL Group, the company's partner who manages the marketing, licensing and defense of patents in the Moore Microprocessor Patent (MMP) Portfolio, have agreed to the terms of a patent license.

Terms of the deal are not publicly available.

Hoya is a diversified manufacturer of Information Technology, Healthcare, and Lifestyle Refinement products.

Patriot's President and CEO, Rick Goerner, said: "The signing of Hoya is yet another validation of our ongoing licensing activities for the MMP Portfolio through TPL. Since the beginning of 2008, we have announced 11 licensees for the MMP Portfolio."
