AirTran Airways Scores a Touchdown by Signing Matt Ryan

(NYSE: AAI), has signed another athlete for its sports advertising campaign in Atlanta by signing Matt Ryan, the third overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. Ryan will be featured in radio spots and high-impact billboards across the Atlanta area starting August 11, 2008.

Thanks to the numerous comeback victories he had for the Eagles, Ryan carried the nickname "Matty Ice" during his college career because of his calm demeanor under pressure.
