London, Aug 19, 2008 (Asia Pulse Data Source via COMTEX) -- VOD | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- A senior executive of Vodafone, Britain's leading mobile phone company, was stabbed to death at her country home, police said today.

Sally Sinclair, 40, was killed at the remote five-bedroom house in the village of Amport in Hampshire which she shared with her husband and ten-year-old twin children.

Her body was found in a pool of blood on Saturday night, police said.

A 47-year-old man was in custody with the connection of the incident and assisting the police in their inquiries into the murder.

Sinclair, who started working for Vodafone in 1994, was the head of business analysis at the company. She and her husband, Alisdair, 47, are believed to have moved to the house only a few months ago.
