The top management of the KESC had issued letters to us that after completing six-month training, they would be given three-year contract for the post of assistant manager, said Hussain. After the completion of six-month training the management sent the trainees home, saying their contracts would be posted to their homes, he said, adding after passing of two months the KESC management was not giving them any contract or salary.
He said when director human resource KESC, recently, contacted, he told that as the management of KESC had changed, the trainees could not be appointed.
Zahid Hussain demanded the acting president Mohammed Mian Soomro, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani, Governor Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ibad, Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah and Chairman KESC to restore the management trainee officers and assistant managers to their jobs.
