- NDSU Cinema Series The North Dakota State University Art Cinema Series will present "Caravaggio" at 7 p.m. Oct. 6 in the Fargo Theatre. During the late Italian Renaissance, Michelangelo de Caravaggio emerged from Rome's countercultural back-alley life to paint brilliant religious images for the Catholic Church, using as models street thugs, prisoners, prostitutes, neglected children and his own image.
