By | TradingMarkets.com | January 30, 2006 12:00 AM
Symbols: FTI, SEE, XOM, SPG

Little change in the major markets; indexes trading
up fractionally.

Gold futures were trading higher this morning as
continuing tensions with Iran, more attacks in Nigeria and Hamas' political
victory in Palestine fuel the demand for save-haven futures.

Exxon Mobil ( XOM | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating)
traded up 3% after announcing a 27% increase in profits and nearly $100 billion
in revenue for Q4.  XOM's
Power Rating.

Schering-Plough ( SPG | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating)
traded down after posting revenue up 6%, earnings down a penny from
expectations.  SGP's
Power Rating.
