Energy and materials stocks are once again on the move with traders and investors scooping up shares of mining companies like Barrick Gold Corporation (ABX | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) and Goldcorp Inc. (GG | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating). Among the energy stocks' better performers as of midday on Thursday include Petrohawk Energy Corporation (HK | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) and Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. (PBR | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating). The bullishness is not limited to traditional energy stocks, either, with shares of Sunpower Corporation (SPWR | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) up more than 4% halfway through trading on Thursday.
