Financial shares were among those bouncing back a day after Thursday's massive sell-off. Wachovia (WB | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) is ahead by more than 4% as of midday on Friday, and Lehman Brothers Holdings (LEH | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) is up more than 3%.

Stocks continuing to pullback on Friday include Ciena Corporation (CIEN | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) and Adobe Systems Inc. (ADBE | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating), both down more than 3% so far in trading today.

The most interesting big mover of the day is clearly SanDisk Corporation (SNDK | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating). The stock was up more than 20% by midday on Friday as news broke that Samsung Electronics was considering an acquisition of the company.
