Schering-Plough (SGP | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) closed up 4.4% at 22.32, ahead of the gain to 21.60 in the pre-market session after Lehman Brothers raised the issue to Overweight from Equal Weight.

In four analyst rating changes MidnightTrader has tracked, including today, SGP has extended its pre-market move during the regular session three times and narrowed that move once.

7/15/08 Pre-Market: up at 21.80; 7/15/08 Regular Session: +4.4 at 22.32 - Lehman Brothers raised to Overweight from Equal Weight.

2/13/08 Pre-Market: +2% at 22.31; Regular Session: +1% at 22.04 - Banc of America Securities raised rating to Buy from Neutral.

12/21/07 Pre-Market: +2.67%; 12/21/07 Regular Session: +3.78% at 27.19 - Lehman Brothers upgraded to Overweight from Equal Weight.

5/4/07 Pre-Market: firmer; 5/4/07 Regular Session: +2.7% at 32.97 - Prudential upgraded to Overweight.
