CMGI (CMGI | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) is slated to report its Q4 results after the closing bell tonight. Thomson Reuters has no survey data for earnings and revenue for the company.

Evening traders can anticipate moderate to heavy volume trade in the issue. CMGI favors a widening move between the bells in response to earnings events, having widened in nine of the past 14 quarters. In the near term, it has widened in the last four consecutive quarters

Here's a look at the stock's recent performance:

On June 9, 2008, CMGI tumbled 13.7% in pre-market trade after swinging to an unexpected Q3 loss. The stock turned deeper south in the following day's regular session, closing down 24.7% on June 10.

On March 10, 2008, CMGI edged up 0.2% in after-hours trade despite missing the Street view for sales. It moved further north the following regular session, advancing 1.2% by the close on March 11.

On Dec. 3, 2007, the stock gained 2.6% during evening trading as the company beat with Q1 EPS though revenue shy and guidance in line to below the Street view. The gain improved slightly to 2.9% the next day.

On Sept. 25, 2007, CMGI dropped 8.7% in evening activity after missing Q4 sales estimates and reporting a net loss. Shares extended their losses and closed the following day session down 13.1%.

Late in the regular session on June 5, 2007, CMGI reported lower Q3 EPS than a year ago and closed the session down 11%. It then edged up 0.9% in the after-hours session that night. The next day, shares gained to close up 1.8%.

On Feb. 26, 2007, CMGI lost 4.5% in night trade despite swinging to a Q2 profit from a year ago. Shares fell further the next day, ending the regular session down 11%.
