What a week. The top-performing
exchange-traded funds for the past five sessions were (drum roll, please) ...
the utilities! Leading the downside were the usual suspects: the tech-focused
tradable funds.

The Dow Jones Utilities iShares ( IDU | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating)
gained 8.3%, the biggest gain for the week among the exchange-traded funds. The
Utilities SPDR ( XLU | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) rose 8.1%, the Utility HOLDR ( UTH | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) 8.0%.

Among the defensives, the Healthcare
iShares ( IYH | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) added 6.3% for the week, the Pharmaceutical HOLDR ( PPH | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating)
6.2%, the Consumer Staples SPDR ( XLP | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) 4.4%.

On a better note, the financial ETFs
repaired some damage. The Regional Banking HOLDR ( RKH | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) picked up 5.7%, the
Dow Jones Financial iShares ( IYF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) 5.6%, the Financial SPDR ( XLF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) 5.5%,
the Dow Jones Financial Services iShares ( IYG | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) 5.1%.

On the downside, the B2B Internet
HOLDR ( BHH | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) fell 18.6%, the sharpest loss for the week among the ETFs. The
Semiconductor HOLDR ( SMH | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) lost 15.9%, the Broadband HOLDR ( BDH | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) 14.6%,
the Dow Jones Technology iShares ( IYW | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) 10.3%, the Internet Architecture
HOLDR ( IAH | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) 8.8%, the Nasdaq 100 Tracking Stock ( QQQ | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) 8.5%, the
Technology SPDR ( XLK | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) 7.5%, the Dow Jones Internet iShares ( IYV | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) 7.2%,
the Software HOLDR ( SWH | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) 6.4%.

Value outperformed growth for the
week. The streetTRACKS Dow Jones U.S. Large Value Fund ( ELV | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) moved ahead
4.9% for the week, the Russell 1000 Value iShares ( IWD | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) 4.2%. The Russell
1000 Growth iShares ( IWF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) lost 2.6%, the streetTRACKS Dow Jones U.S. Large
