In addition to Microsoft (MSFT | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) and Amazon.com (AMZN | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) reporting earnings after the bell on Thursday, there are a number of companies whose quarterly earnings are expected Thursday morning, as well.

The Dow lost 82.99. The Nasdaq Composite gained 2.27. And the S&P 500 fell by 6.53.

Here are 7 Stocks You Need to Know for Thursday.

Apple (AAPL | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) announced quarterly earnings of 1.33 Wednesday after the market closed, beating analyst estimates by more than 20 cents per share

Also reporting earnings after the bell on Wednesday were eBay (EBAY | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) and Yum! Brands(YUM | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating). eBay announced EPS of 39 cents. Yum! Brands reported quarterly earnings per share of 48 cents. Both companies beat analyst estimates.

Among the companies reporting earnings Thursday morning before the market opens are ConocoPhillips (COP | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating), Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) and United Parcel Service (UPS | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating). ConocoPhillips is expected to report EPS of 0.47. CME is expected to report per share earnings of 3.27. And analysts are expecting to hear earnings per share of 0.57.

Being added to Goldman Sachs' buy list based on likely gains in market share was good news for Ford Motor Company (F | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating), which gained more than 13% on Wednesday.
