TradingMarkets 7 ETFs You Need to Know for Monday

On a day when the Dow goes from up more than 300 to down 30 late in the day, the big winners in the exchange-traded fund world were short and leveraged short fund inversely correlated to sectors like the financials and small cap stocks such as those in the Russell 2000.

Emerging markets ETFs were mixed, with Taiwan and China funds higher and Latin American and Mexican ETFs lower.

Here are 7 ETFs You Need to Know for Monday.

Although still finishing the day up nearly 2%, the iShares Energy Sector Trust, IYE (IYE | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating), was significantly higher intraday. IYE is below both its 200- and 5-day moving averages.

The ProShares UltraShort Financial ETF, SKF (SKF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) gained more than 5% intrday on Friday. SKF is overbought as of the end of the week, trading below the 200-day moving average. Conversely, the ProShares Ultra Financials fund, UYG (UYG | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) were down more than 4%.

Up more than 3%, the ProShares UltraShort Russell 2000 exchange-traded fund, TWM (TWM | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating), gained ground for a second consecutive day, rallying from its intraday lows.

Gaining more than 2% on the day, the Oil Service HOLDRS, OIH (OIH | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) nevertheless closed significantly off their intraday highs.

The iShares Mexico Index fund, EWW (EWW | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating), lost more than 2% on Friday. Trading below its 200-day moving average, EWW has become increasingly oversold over the past three days.

The United States Natural Gas Fund LP, UNG (UNG | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating), continues to pullback from Wednesday's overbought extremes, falling by more than 1% on Friday.
