Abacus buys Birkenhead for $174m

Abacus Property Group and Kirsh Group have bought the Birkenhead Point shopping centre and marina complex in the suburb of Drummoyne, New South Wales. The deal, worth $A174 million, is Australia's biggest retail asset sale so far in 2010.
