Fujitsu Selects Stordis as EMEA Distributor for XG Series Ethernet Switches

Fujitsu Frontech North America Inc., a supplier of IT technologies, digital media solutions, retail solutions and biometric security solutions, announced that it has selected Stordis as an EMEA distributor for the Fujitsu XG series of Ethernet switches, including the new XG2600 high-performance, ultra-low latency switches.
"Fujitsu switches are the best on the market, making them the perfect complement to our existing product portfolio, which is focused on low-latency, high-performance networking and storage infrastructure," said Alexander Jeffries, managing director at Stordis. "By integrating the Fujitsu switches into our large stock of best-in-class networking cards, cabling and transceivers, Stordis is now able to offer resellers the lowest-latency 10GbE networking solutions on the market."
As network bandwidth increases, ultra-fast switching and network latency are increasingly critical for maintaining true network performance. In time-sensitive, high-performance computing environments that rely on real-time applications-including financial trading environments, live video streaming and communications-low-latency networking solutions are mission-critical.
