Pacific National ships into QR debate

David Irwin, Pacific National's divisional manager of coal, addressed the Queensland Mining & Engineering Exhibition on 28 July 2010. Irwin has urged the Queensland Government to issue its decision on a bid by coalminers to acquire the state's coal rail network. He says the matter must be resolved quickly, in order to provide certainty to coal exports. A number of miners reportedly expect the $A4.85 billion bid to be rejected.
