New SLL VPN solutions from SonicWALL help secure mobile workforce access to corporate networks

SonicWALL Inc, a provider of network security and data protection solutions, today announced the launch of two new SSL VPN products designed to help organisations to administer and monitor employee access to information secured behind the firewall.

The company said that the SonicWALL Aventail 10.5 is a major software upgrade to existing enterprise class solutions, while the SonicWALL SRA 1200 is a new appliance intended for SMB customers.

The Aventail 10.5 release offers new features including ActiveSync support for the Apple iPhone, iPad, Google Android and Symbian mobile devices, providing secure e-mail, contacts and calendar synchronisation with the corporate server, according to SonicWALL.

The company did not provide any pricing information for either solution.
