Midweek serves investors a heaping portion of earnings releases. The Red Book and Housing Starts also greet traders on Wednesday. Bulls were in full control of Wall Street today with the major indexes closing sharply higher. Strong manufacturing data combined with a bevy of positive earning results powered the bullish surge. Energy and financial shares led the session higher on the day. The DJIA surged 169.67 , the Nasdaq added 30.66 and the S&P 500 moved higher by 19.36.

Here are 7 stocks you need to know for Wednesday.

Farm machine maker, Deere & Co (DE), is expecting to see 19 cents/share before the opening bell.

Another company forecast to earn 19 cents/share is Genzyme Corporation (GENZ) prior to the open.

After the close Wednesday, expect to hear from Advance Auto Parts Inc (AAP) with a forecast EPS of 46 cents.

$1.06 is the consensus number for Hewlett-Packard Co (HPQ) after the closing bell on Wednesday evening.

NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA) has analysts awaiting an EPS of 15 cents after the market closes on Wednesday.

The princely sum of $10 billion dollars is what Simon Property Group (SPG) has offered to purchase General Growth Properties, GGWPQ (GGWPQ) to create the biggest U.S. shopping mall company.
